8x18 watercolor on gessoed Crescent rag matboard, drawn yesterday and painted today in about 2 hours. After doing so many Christmas themed works, just had to jump back into the world of flowers. These poppies I photographed last year while in Wales, UK. My background is imaginary.
I love this Kay! the colors....but i absolutely love working on gesso'd paper. i love the texture. great job!
