First Snow!

After months and months of no moisture we got a good snow! As farmers we are always so excited for any kind of rain, sleet, snow...whatever God wants to send us! So...Thank you God for the moisture for our land!
This was painted last year. All our tractors are 'green and yellow!'

Almost Gone snowman

6.5 x 5 watercolor on Italia 140 lb paper, drawn and painted yesterday right after my studio overhead lights were fixed. Now I can see like daylight in that dark kitchen. This fellow is another in my series of melting snowmen and still looks quite happy to be Almost Gone!

Where Have All the Painters Gone???

It snowed and no one is around painting; guess you are all inside the house here keeping warm then.  This is watercolor over partially gessoed matboard 14x11 and is titled "Cold Snap".
